DO NOT CO-SLEEP WHEN –

You have consumed alcohol, any drugs or you or partner smokes.

Baby was born before 37weeks or is under 2.5kg or 5 1/2lbs.

Co-sleeping with baby can help to regulate their temperature and heart rate, encourages greater emotional attachment. Calm and sooths baby and is a great way to protect breastfeeding. As in time you will both learn to do this whilst in a light sleep. Remember breastfeeding sleep hormone prolactin peaks overnight helping baby and you to sleep and these overnight feeds help to ensure your long term milk supply! Amazing!
